Ms. Goodrich's 5th grade science class continues their unit on Chemical Reactions. In the activity, Acid Test, students discovered two ways to detect acids: they used baking soda, which fizzes when mixed with acids, or a special liquid that changes color when mixed with acids. Then, students use those methods to identify common foods that are acidic.

Next week is the Annual SAGS Food Drive for the local food pantry!! Please send in any donations you can provide! Winners by grade level will receive prizes!
Coins for Veterans!! St. Anne Grade School is teaming up with Casey's to raise money for Veterans. Starting today through Friday, November 22nd, SAGS will host a "Coins for Veterans" class competition. The winning class will be rewarded with a pizza party sponsored by Casey's. #TheSAGSway
Picture retake day is Wednesday, November 13th. If your child is new to the district they will be photographed. Anyone who is unhappy with their child's picture can have it retaken. If you purchased a package, it will need to be returned on that day.
D.E.A.R. Families,
Our next D.E.A.R. Event will take place on Wednesday, November 6th. This event will be called “Hats Off to Reading.” Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite hat to school to celebrate reading.
